Coping with Abrupt shifts in life

The very famous line that ‘change is the only constant thing in the world’ has scared me most for all my life. When there was something about to change whether small or big has created in me a dreaded emotion that I was going to lose something I really loved or that all I wanted in the present will be lost and I was going to start over again. We invest time and effort in planning our future and create our comfort zones. Suddenly we have to change the plan and be quick with it. I have been living with my parents for 16 years of my life and I was going to college all on my own for 4 years. That was really hard especially because I would be in a place where I knew no one. Then I had an early pregnancy. It was way over than what I expected. I had not even prepared for my own adaptation to the place and here comes a new responsibility. My parents were outraged by the news but I had no choice but to show my face and try to make amends just to prove myself worthy still of the trust I have once betrayed. I needed someone to talk to who was not in any way involved in my life to provide me an outsider’s perspective of my situation and it was Landmark Forum who have given just what I needed. I graduated from a bachelor’s degree in Communication. After that, I had another bachelor’s degree in psychology since I think that it is kind of linked to the first degree I took. For the time I was studying, I had lots of books I used as source. I would by brand new books since my mother and father would support my education and whenever I told them about the book I need, they will allow me to buy it. I have earned so many books from that experience and now that I am a graduate already, it is not practical to just store them or throw them away. I was thinking of giving it to institutions but I am afraid that they might not use it since those books are major for particular fields only. Being a non-native speaker of English, it was a difficult task for me to learn the language. I’ve been hearing a lot of good words about Landmark Education. These words caught my curiosity and that is why I decided to attend one of their programs. I attended Landmark Forum last month and I did not regret it at all. What I heard about Landmark Education is all true.
